The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has presented its new strategic plan and vision defining the features and guidelines of its directions until 2026.
The new strategy will be implemented in three stages and will involve DLD employees, partners and clients in the development of the department's strategic plan for the next stage.
The first stage is the launch of quick-benefit initiatives to ensure that DLD adapts to the proposed changes. The second stage is empowerment by working to empower both the real estate sector and DLD, as well as providing the necessary support for the smooth implementation of the transformation. The third stage is to achieve a sustainable impact by expanding the sphere of influence to cover the global real estate system.
DLD's announcement of the updated strategy came at a time when the UAE is strengthening its footprint in global inclusive and sustainable development through notable achievements at all levels.
The strategy in its final form is the result of the ongoing efforts of various members of the DLD team to ensure the best results compatible with current and future global developments and practices. The new strategy also represents a qualitative addition that will increase the contribution of the real estate sector to Dubai's GDP, in addition to supporting the goals of other sectors and strategic directions.
