The volume of weekly real estate transactions in Dubai amounted to AED 12.9 billion

According to data published by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), a total of 3,332 real estate transactions worth 12.9 billion dirhams were completed in the week ending March 10, 2023.

 

The DLD report showed that 274 plots were sold for 3.17 billion dirhams, while sales of 2,370 apartments and villas amounted to 4.93 billion dirhams.

 

The top three deals included land in Al Khairan First, first sold for 1.57 billion dirhams, followed by another plot of land for 72 million dirhams in Wadi Al Safa 3, and another plot worth 1.57 billion dirhams in Al Khairan First.

 

Al Hebiah Fifth recorded the largest number of transactions for this week - 117 purchase and sale transactions worth 320.97 million dirhams, followed by Jabal Ali First with 40 purchase and sale transactions worth 115.16 million dirhams and Madinat Al Mataar with 22 purchase and sale transactions worth 83 million dirhams.

 

The top three best-selling apartments and villas included a villa sold for 65 million dirhams on Palm Jumeirah, an apartment worth 65 million dirhams on Island 2 and an apartment sold for 49 million dirhams in Burj Khalifa.

The value of mortgaged real estate for the week amounted to AED 4.12 billion, while 267 properties were provided to relatives of the first degree in the amount of AED 759 million.
