Weekly real estate transactions in Dubai, May 21-27, 2021

148 plots of land were sold for USD 323 million, 1,008 apartments and villas were sold for USD 593 million.

1,599 real estate and property transactions worth USD 2.8 billion in total were registered in Dubai during the week from 21 to 27 May, 2021.

The largest transactions were a land in Burj Khalifa sold for USD 54 million followed by a land in Al Thanayah Fourth that was sold for USD 16 million.

The highest number of transactions during the week was recorded in Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid with 43 sales transactions amounting to USD 131 million. Al Hebiah Fourth came second with 31 sales transactions worth USD 33 million. It is followed by Al Hebiah Third that had 14 sales transactions worth USD 9.5 million.

As for apartments and villas, the most expensive unit was an apartment sold for USD 138 million in Burj Khalifa. Next on the list was an apartment in Marsa Dubai sold for USD 102 million. And an apartment in Palm Jumeirah sold for USD 27 million was third among the top three.

Total sum of mortgaged properties for the week was USD 816 million. The highest was a land in Dubai International Airport, mortgaged for USD 216 million.

63 properties worth USD 1.08 billion were granted between first-degree relatives (an individual’s parents, siblings, children, or a fully owned company by an individual).
