UAE is a country where unique developments in real estate appear every day. It is home to some of the world’s modern architectural marvels, that attract hoards of tourists and property investors. The Ministry of Infrastructure Development greatly assists all the new projects in the sector and constantly plans the use of innovative technologies in construction.
One of these new technologies is 3D-printing. This new method will minimise the time spent on the construction of each new facility, and help reduce financial investments by 70-80%.
Furthermore, research shows that the construction of 3D printed homes is more environmentally-friendly. 3D printing companies opt for using numerous plastic objects from oceans, or lying about in waste bins, as printing materials, along with various recycled substances.
The first 3D-printed property already exists. ‘The Office of the Future’ in the UAE was printed in just 17 days and installed in 2 days. It is estimated that by 2030, a quarter of all buildings in Dubai will be built using this method.
