Dubai will get us closer to the moon

The MOON resort, designed by Michael R. Henderson and Sandra G. Matthews, will be housed inside the world’s largest sphere (650 feet in diameter and 735 feet in height). Michael R. Henderson mentioned that the Dubai Pearl development site is perfect for building a futuristic moon-shaped resort. The estimated cost of the project is around 5 billion US dollars.

The resort will include a moon colony, a space night club, an imitation of the moon’s surface and other projects that will make the "journey" to the Earth's satellite accessible to everyone. The general goal on the project is to provide tourists with an out-of-this-world experience without having to fly to space.

Currently there are no known or even fixed dates as to when the public will be able to enjoy the facilities of this extraterrestrial attraction. However, with space again becoming the world’s subject of interest, this project will timely swoop the public off its feet.
