The area has football and basketball pitches, a swimming pool, gyms, and a skate park. Supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and bus stops are within walking distance. There is a community centre with a swimming pool, barbecue areas and a children's playground. Despite the ongoing development, this community already has everything you need for a comfortable life.
The road to the centre of the emirate takes about 30 minutes, and Al Maktoum International Airport is 15 minutes away.
Shopping: malls, shopping centres, and supermarkets in Remraam
The community has Geant Express and Carrefour supermarkets with a wide range of groceries and household items. There are two other supermarkets within 5 minutes’ drive, Viva and Spinneys, in the neighbouring community of Damac Hills.
The nearest hypermarket is Mango Hypermarket 3 in the Dubai Investment Park area, a 12-minute drive away. Here you can buy groceries as well as household goods, clothing and appliances.
The Ranches Souk shopping complex is 10 minutes away by car. In addition to a variety of shops, it offers everything for a family's leisure time, including cafes, restaurants, and a children's amusement park.
The road to Dubai's biggest shopping centres:
- Dubai Mall – 35 minutes;
- Mall of the Emirates – 20–30 minutes;
- Marina Mall – 20–25 minutes;
- Ibn Battuta Mall – 20 minutes.
Cafes, bars and restaurants in Remraam
There are several places in the community where you can have a quick bite to eat or a full dinner:
- Domino's Pizza – pizzeria;
- Little Neighbourhood – restaurant;
- Cassano and KFC – fast food.
Other cafes and restaurants can be found in neighbouring areas, such as Dubai Studio City, Damac Hills, and Arabian Ranches 2. These include Grand Suvoroff and Sansation restaurants, Emani's bakery, FireLake Grill House bar and many more. Travel time, even during busy evening hours, will not exceed 5–10 minutes by car.
Public transportation and parking in Remraam
Each house has a parking space on the ground floor for residents. Some houses have 2 parking spaces. However, guests may experience parking difficulties.
The J04 bus serves the community and goes to the Dubai Studio City area. Jumeirah Golf Estates metro station is within 12 minutes’ drive.
Hospitals and clinics in Remraam
The community has a multi-speciality hospital called Aster Clinic with departments for paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, dentistry, and general medicine. It is considered one of the best network clinics in Dubai.
Another highly rated hospital is the Prime Medical Centre in the Motor City area. It can be reached within 15 minutes’ drive. NMC Royal Hospital in the Dubai Investments Park community is at the same distance.
Kindergartens and schools in Remraam
The community is home to The Wonder Years Nursery, which caters for children aged 6 months to 4 years. They follow the British Early Years Foundation System. Individual learning and recreational programmes are provided for each age group. Full day care for 5 days a week costs approximately $11,500 per year.
There is the South View School within the community for older children. Other schools are located in neighbouring areas within 2–10 minutes’ drive, including Jebel Ali School, GEMS Metropole School, and Ranches Primary School. The nearest universities are located in Academic City and the Dubai Internet City area within 20 minutes’ drive.
