Shapoorji Pallonji was the first Indian construction company to enter the Middle East in 1971, when it won the global tender for the Al Alam Palace for Sultan Qaboos of Oman. Since then, the company has participated in numerous high profile projects in countries including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, etc.
