Most expensive villa sold in Dubai for USD 30.3 million

The sale is the second highest residential sale in Dubai’s history the highest in over six years.

Leading luxury brokerage in Dubai LuxuryProperty has sold a high-class mansion on the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, for a record-breaking sum of USD 30.3 million. The sale is the second highest residential sale in Dubai’s history the highest in over six years, which looks like another sign of the booming luxury market in the emirate.

The 14,000 square feet beachfront home was designed by SAOTA architects and branded as One 100. It is idyllically located on the Palm Jumeriah and features a wide range of incredible amenities that include but are not limited to a champagne vault, a vodka bar, a state-of-the-art gym, a cinema and a giant candy wall.

As it is expected in case of a transaction of this nature, the international buyer (who preferred to remain anonymous) was attracted not only by the exceptional quality of the villa but also by the unusual art collection that includes a life-size figure from the movie Transformers and a chrome crocodile by the sculptor Richard Orlinksi.

Homes like this are a rarity in Dubai and the price really reflects that. This is the most expensive single plot villa ever sold on the Palm Jumeirah and the most expensive property in Dubai’s history in terms of price per square foot. The villa boasts indoor and outdoor cinemas as well as an exceptional roof party space. It is furnished by bespoke Bentley and Fendi furniture, mixed with interior décor by Louis Vuitton and Hermes. In addition to that, the house is equipped with the most advanced voice-activated home tech system in United Arab Emirates.
