A villa worth AED 749 million ($204 million) was put up for sale in Dubai. At the moment, this is the most expensive house in Dubai, despite the growth of the luxury real estate market.
For $204 million, the buyer will receive a mansion in the Versailles style (also known as French Baroque) with an area of 5,574 m2 on a land plot with 6,500 m2.
The house has five bedrooms, the area of the largest of them is 371 m2. There is also a garage for 15 cars, 19 bathrooms, two swimming pools (outdoors and indoors), an aquarium for 80,000 liters, its own power substation and several armored shelters in case of emergencies.
The house is decorated with Italian marble and gold leaf. Its construction took 12 years and was completed in 2018. The first owner was a top manager of one of the local real estate developers, who wished to remain anonymous. Among realtors, the villa has received the unofficial name “marble palace".
At the moment, there is only one property in Dubai more expensive than the “marble palace” - a penthouse in Bugatti Residences residential complex worth AED 750 million ($204.19 million), nicknamed the “heavenly mansion". It will be completed in 3 years. Among other things, the developer promises the buyer an elevator for cars.
