Women invest 58.8 billion dirhams of Dubai in real estate

Women's participation in the Dubai real estate market has increased markedly in 2022. In the emirate, a total of 26,698 female investors registered 33,419 real estate transactions worth more than 58.8 billion dirhams in the previous year, which is 50.7% more in volume and 53% more in value compared to 2021. According to the Dubai Land Department (DLD), there were more female investors in 2022 than in 2021.

 

With annual transactions setting new records, the Dubai real estate market has completed another impressive year and has established itself as a significant contribution to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Program «D33». With 122,658 real estate sales in 2022 totaling 528 billion dirhams, annual real estate transactions in the emirate exceeded the mark of half a trillion dirhams for the first time.

 

Women played not only a financial role in real estate. In addition, they have contributed to the development of the industry as builders, brokers and employees. According to DLD data, 34.8% of registered real estate brokers were women. A total of 8,606 transactions totaling 696 million dirhams were made with the assistance of 4,519 female brokers. Women make up 42% of the total number of employees of the Dubai Land Department, and they are necessary to fulfill the mission of the organization at all levels and in all areas.
