A radical idea developed by the architectural firm Zero Space will transform the Dubai skyline.

Downtown Circle, a 550-meter-high ring that will surround the Burj Khalifa. This idea is designed to challenge the generally accepted notions of skyscraper housing and gated communities. In addition, sustainability and self-sufficiency are the goals.

The impressive dimensions of the tower, which is expected to have a three-kilometer circumference and cover the entire center of Dubai, are visible in the artists' drawings.

It will be divided into smaller parts, each of which will have residential premises, as well as public, commercial and cultural areas.

Najmu Choudry and Nils Remes, co-founders of ZeroSpace, who often focus on experimental architecture that explores and challenges social constraints and environmental issues, have developed a huge project.
