Nareel Island is an upscale coastal community located in the Al Bateen area of Abu Dhabi. It consists of 2 islands: North and South, which are connected by a road. The project is being developed by Aldar Properties in partnership with the National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH). It aims to bring together resorts, prime real estate and all the amenities necessary for a comfortable life in one place.

The island plans to offer 160 plots of land ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 sq. m for development. 74 plots are located directly on the coast, with a jetty and access to marinas. Prices start from AED 5 million (USD 1.36 million).

All plots in the community are divided into 5 groups:

  1. 1,000–1,500 sq. m, located in the centre of the island.
  1. 2,000 sq. m with partial sea views.
  2. 3,000 sq. m with sea views.
  3. 4,000 sq. m with sea views.
  4. Exclusive 5,000 sq. m plots, secluded from other houses, with sea views, and direct access to the coastline.

There are plans to expand the island's transport network over time. Currently, there is one road, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud St, leading to the island, which is sufficient for convenient access to any area of the emirate. Parking is not expected to be a problem as the plots are large enough to accommodate both personal and guest parking.

The Gulf Diagnostic Center Hospital, which specialises in general medicine, orthopaedics, paediatrics, and gynaecology, is within 7–10 minutes’ drive from the island. At the same distance is the Medical Park Consultants One Day Surgery Centre, where general practitioners, gynaecologists, dermatologists, otolaryngologists and paediatricians work. They provide emergency care, planned hospitalisation and outpatient consultations.

Cosmetic and aesthetic clinics can be found within 3–5 minutes’ drive: Novomed, House of Nature and Elyzee Day Surgery.
