The district, founded in 2003, is a free economic zone covering an area of about 4 sq. km. Initially, it housed various businesses, including those involved in printing and media offices. Over time, this part of the city has become one of the largest business centers in the city. Businessmen from different countries around the world live and work in the area. Currently, Dubai Production City is approximately 50% developed. In addition to residential buildings and media offices, it features beauty salons, fitness studios, and ATMs.

The district is located on the outskirts of Dubai and is connected to other parts of the metropolis via a convenient route – the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road highway is located next to Dubai Production City. The nearest metro station can be reached by car, for example by taxi, in 20 minutes.
The developed infrastructure areas of Jumeirah Village and Sports City are located nearby DPC.
The road to key landmarks and attractions of the metropolis will take no more than 30 minutes:
- The Burj Khalifa skyscraper, which has long become a symbol of Dubai, is located a 20-minute drive away by car.
- It takes 20 minutes to get to the famous Burj Al Arab hotel.
- The Dubai Marina promenade, popular among tourists, is a 20-minute drive away.
- The Dubai Safari Park, which has become home to representatives of many species of animals and birds, is located a 30-minute drive away by car.
- The world-famous artificial Palm Jumeirah islands are just a 20-minute drive away.
- The Al Maktoum International Airport can be reached in 15 minutes.
- The road to the Mall of the Emirates shopping complex will take about 20 minutes.
There are both under-construction and ready-to-move residential properties available for living in Dubai Production City. These properties include studios and 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments. The following communities are located within the district:
Al Shaiba Building G25, Zakir Zaki Building, Fortune Serene, Afnan District, Lago Vista Towers, Centrium Towers, Dania District, Lakeside Tower, Qasr Sabah, Oakwood Residency, and Crescent Towers.
Prices of property for sale in Dubai depend on the area of the property, the number of bedrooms in the apartment, and the date of completion of the residential building. A studio with an area of 34 sq. m can be purchased for AED 270,000 ($73,500). In 2023, one-bedroom apartments can be purchased for AED 400,000–955,000 ($109,000–260,000), two-bedroom apartments for AED 624,000–1.36 million ($170,000–370,300), and three-bedroom apartments for AED 1.86 million (around $508,000).
Property in the UAE is a great option for investment. Prices for rental apartments in Dubai, DPC vary depending on the number of rooms in the residences.

One of the world's largest shopping malls, Dubai Mall, which has long been a landmark of the emirate, can be reached via Al Khail Rd (E44) and Al Mustaqbal St (D86). Next to the mall is the Burj Khalifa metro station. The nearest metro station is Dubai Internet City Metro Station 2. It can be reached by bus from the Dubai Internet City MS stop.
To get to the Garden of Wonders, take a bus from Dubai Production City A Street 1 stop, get off at Dubai Internet City Metro Bus Stop Landside 1, walk to Dubai Internet City Metro Station 2 (it takes about 1 minute), get off at Mall of the Emirates, then take a bus from Mall of the Emirates Bus Stop 5, and get off at the next stop Miracle Garden 1.
You can drive to Miracle Garden from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Rd (E311), Umm Suqeim and Arjan Exit Rd (D63).
The City Centre Me'aisem shopping mall operates in the block. There are clothing (Centrepoint, H&M, MAX, Claire's) and cosmetics (M.A.C, INGLOT and The Body Shop) departments in the mall.
New W Mart Supermarket, Danat Supermarket, and Swiss Mart are also located in the area. Another grocery store located here is called Star Mart Supermarket Lago Vista. Guests and residents of the area also use the Carrefour Hypermarket.
There are several kindergartens in the neighborhood: Kids Kingdom Nursery School, Gummy Bear Nursery IMPZ, Chubby Cheeks Nursery IMPZ, and Orchid Daycare.
There is also Ready Position Tennis Academy, which is open to both adults and children, martial arts schools With TheKRU and Heroes Level Up, and an Amateur Ballet Dubai class.
All these institutions are staffed by highly qualified professionals, so parents can safely enroll their children in these sections, schools, and kindergartens.
Dubai Production City has a large Mediclinic Me'aisem medical center with experienced staff. The clinic employs pediatricians, ophthalmologists, nutritionists, gynecologists, urologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, oncologists, hematologists, endocrinologists, surgeons, psychiatrists, neurologists, intensive care specialists, etc. Thanks to the wide range of services provided at the facility, residents do not have to search for a doctor far from home and spend time on the way to the hospital.
There are buses in the area. There are stops at Dubai Production City, Dubai Production City A Street 1, Dubai Production City F Street 1, Dubai Production City Accommodation 1, and Dubai Production City Accommodation 2.
Buses run within the neighborhood and out of this part of Dubai, so you can take public transportation from the neighborhood to key locations in the metropolis.
The hotel industry is well developed in the area. The best hotels in Dubai Production City are in different parts of the area. Guests at the Four Points by Sheraton can use the hotel's swimming pools, and the rooms have air conditioning, safes, and mini bars. Cribs for children are available upon request.

Qasr Al Jabal and J27 Restaurant are popular fast-food restaurants in the area. Wagah Border Restaurant also has a varied menu.
In addition to restaurants, there are cafes with delicious pastries and drinks such as Filli Cafe, The Creamers House Cafe, The Acai Spot – City Center Me'aisem Branch, Tea Haze Restaurant, Starbucks, Majlis Al Sultan, Alwan Restaurant & Coffee, PAUL Bakery & Restaurant – Meaisem, Tim Hortons, Al Shams Restaurant and Cafe, etc.
Where can you go in Dubai Production City? You can walk around Dubai Production City, go to a coffee shop, have lunch at a restaurant, and go shopping at Me'aisem mall.
There are many places of interest near the area. It takes about 25 minutes to drive to the Expo 2020 site, where the World Expo was held, bringing together thousands of tourists from all over the world. Now interactive exhibitions and seminars are regularly held there. The site has become one of the most recognizable pieces of infrastructure in Dubai.
A 35–40 minutes’ drive away is the Dolphinarium, where dolphins and seals live. Here you can not only watch the show of sea creatures but also take pictures with them.
