
In the week ending February 3, 2023, a total of 2,157 real estate transactions were registered in Dubai, the value of which amounted to more than 9 billion dirhams, data from the Dubai Land Department showed on Friday.
In total, 237 plots were sold for 1.56 billion dirhams, while 1,920 apartments and villas were sold for 5.77 billion dirhams.
The three largest land transactions included a plot of land in Al Wasl, sold for 147.5 million dirhams, followed by another for 112 million dirhams in Island 2. In third place was another plot in Al Wasl for 147.5 million dirhams.
Al Hebiah Fifth recorded the largest number of transactions this week with 108 purchase and sale transactions worth 383.71 million dirhams, followed by Al Yufrah 1 with 28 purchase and sale transactions worth 163.27 million dirhams, and Al Hebiah Fourth with 14 transactions worth 149 million dirhams.
The top three transfers for apartments and villas included apartments sold for 410 million dirhams in Island 2. In second place on the list was a property sold for 220 million dirhams in Business Bay, and in third place for 125 million dirhams in Palm Jumeirah.
The number of mortgaged properties for the week amounted to 1.68 billion dirhams, with the highest figure being the land in Al Barsha South Fourth, mortgaged for 324 million dirhams.
74 properties were provided to relatives of the first degree in the amount of 665 million dirhams.
