In an effort to achieve the ambitious goal of making Dubai the smartest city in the world, the municipality has launched a single electronic platform for obtaining construction permits. The main goal of the strategy is to help investors in the real estate sector and develop a dynamic investment climate in Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, approved a new simplified procedure for obtaining a construction permit on the principle of a «one-stop shop» in which all processes are carried out in one place.
The new strategy developed by the specialized committee will undoubtedly strengthen Dubai's position as a city in which an active construction sector acts as a key component of economic development.
The first stage of the strategy is related to the development and streamlining of construction permit procedures. The second stage will concern practices related to the unification of systems and requirements, while the third will finally form a service that allows you to implement all processes in one place.
