According to Mo'asher, in August 2022, the Dubai real estate market experienced the highest monthly rate in the last ten years. Mo'asher is the official Dubai Sale and Rental Price Index issued by Dubai Land Department (DLD).
In August 2022, a total of 9,720 purchase and sale transactions were registered in the Dubai real estate market. The total value of these sales amounted to 24.34 billion dirhams, an increase of 69.57 percent compared to August 2021.
The volume of transactions in the secondary real estate market in August 2022 exceeded 54% in volume and almost 65% in value of the total number of registered transactions. As for the off-plan sales, the figures in August were higher by 72.10% in physical terms and by 76.50% in value terms compared to August 2021.
According to invisibility experts, the most popular areas for sale in August 2022 were Dubai Marina, Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Village Circle and Towers on Jumeirah Lake. The most popular areas for sale of villas/townhouses in August 2022 were Dubai Hills Estate, Palm Jumeirah, Arab Ranches, DAMAK Hills (Akoya by DAMAC), Mohammed bin Rashid City and Dubai Land.
