A skyscraper will be built in Dubai, which will be second in height only to the local Burj Khalifa tower, the tallest building in the world.
So far, there is little information about the project. Neither the official name of the new building nor its exact height have been named. It is also not specified which set of residential and commercial premises will be in the tower. It is known that the tower will be built in one of the elite areas along Sheikh Zayed Road, the main street of Dubai.
The project will be handled by Azizi Developments. This was announced on social networks by the company's CEO Farhad Azizi. He noted that the new skyscraper should promote the company's brand.
For the first time, plans for the construction of a skyscraper became known in November 2022, at Cityscape Dubai exhibition.
It can be assumed that the height of the new tower should be below 828 meters (the height of Burj Khalifa), but above 678.9 meters. This is the height of the Merdeka 118 tower, located in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. The third highest skyscraper in the world is Shanghai Tower, which is 632 meters.
