In Dubai, 7.3 billion real estate transactions were recorded in a week

According to data published by Dubai Land Department (DLD), a total of 2,338 real estate transactions worth 7.3 billion dirhams were completed in the week ending October 14, 2022.

 

A total of 106 plots were sold for 1.76 billion dirhams, and 1,791 apartments and villas were purchased for 3.81 billion dirhams.

 

The top three deals included two plots of land sold for 600 million dirhams and 206.52 million dirhams on Palm Jumeirah, followed by another land sold for 44 million dirhams in Al Satwa.

 

Hadaeq Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid recorded the largest number of transactions over the past week - 22 purchase and sale transactions worth 475.41 million dirhams, followed by Jabal Ali First with nine transactions worth 26 million dirhams, and Al Hebiah Fifth with nine transactions worth 20.3 million dirhams.

 

The amount of mortgaged real estate for the week amounted to 1.49 billion dirhams, with the highest figure being a land plot in Island 2, mortgaged for 271 million dirhams.

 

About 77 properties were provided to relatives of the first degree in the amount of 249 million dirhams.
