In Dubai, the construction of a new super high tower is nearing completion

DMC's Uptown Tower has reached a height of 329 meters and is being prepared for completion in the third quarter of 2022.

The 79-storey tower is expected to become the first ultra-tall tower in the center of Dubai, a new area near the Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Jumeirah Park and the Jumeirah Islands in the south of the city. Uptown Tower will include both residential and commercial real estate.

According to DMCC, 22% of the office space has already been leased. The facade work, consisting of 8,500 glass panels, was completed by 90%, with each facade on each floor completed in just two days.

Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, said: «With the completion of Uptown Tower, we are about to see one of Dubai's most incredible urban areas come to life. I look forward to welcoming our first tenants and visitors once the project is completed in the third quarter of 2022».

The 340-meter-high tower will be home to the new DMCC headquarters. It will also have 188 luxury luxury hotels, exclusive restaurants, Class A offices and 229 brand residences.
