According to the report, the value of real estate transactions in the Emirate of Sharjah increased to 2.7 billion dirhams ($735 million) in November 2022 from 1.9 billion dirhams in the previous month.
According to the report of the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, a total of 2,813 real estate transactions were made during this period, of which 650 were sales, or 23.1% of all transactions (SRERD).
The number of mortgage transactions increased to 322, which is 11.4% of the total sales of 921 million dirhams. The remaining 1,841 transactions, which accounted for the remaining 65.5% of the total, were distributed across various real estate transactions.
According to the study, sales in the real estate market in Sharjah covered a total area of 13.3 million square meters, distributed across 99 addresses. Residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural real estate was sold.
In total, 265 transactions with split towers were concluded for a total of 40.8% of all purchase and sale transactions. 194 sales involving vacant land accounted for 29.8% of the total, while 191 transactions with built-up real estate accounted for 29.4% of the total.
According to the survey, 151 transactions were made in Muwailih district in Sharjah in November 2022, followed by Hoshi and Al Khan, where 71 transactions were made in each, and Al Majaz 3 with 48 transactions.
Al Majaz 3 took second place with a total of 80.1 million dirhams, followed by Muwailih with a total of 193.9 million dirhams.
