The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (FORD) reported that transactions worth 6.3 billion dirhams were registered in Q1 2022.
The department said in a statement that 21,615 real estate transactions were made from January to March 2022. The first three months of 2022 demonstrated a significant increase in the indicators of the real estate sector in the emirate in terms of monetary value, an increase in the number of real estate transactions and the total number of real estate transactions.
The collected data reflect the return of investors to the UAE, which will provide an opportunity for the growth and expansion of the emirate's real estate market. In particular, the results point to the recovery of the sector after the slowdown caused by COVID-19 and the continuation of steady growth in early 2022.
The results correspond to the goal of the general budget of the Emirate of Sharjah for 2022, which was approved by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
