In the first half of 2022, the number of lease agreements in Sharjah increased by 6%

The Sharjah Municipality reported that the percentage of lease agreements in the city of Sharjah increased by 6% in the first half of this year compared to the first half of last year.

 

Sharjah Municipality has made it easier for dealers to ratify these contracts in various ways, which supports its goal of increasing the attractiveness of residential, commercial and tourist facilities.

 

In this regard, Ali Ahmed Abu Ghazien, Director of the Rent Regulation Department of Sharjah Municipality, confirmed that in the first half of 2022, 166,199 lease agreements of all types were ratified, including 133,531 housing agreements, 32,593 commercial agreements and 75 investment agreements. This figure reflects the growth rate and the increase in the number of agreements.
