In the last two years, holiday houses/apartments for short-term stays in Dubai have become serious competitors to urban hotels. Such projects have always been popular with visitors to the Persian Gulf countries, who tend to spacious real estate.
The owners of holiday houses in Dubai are waiting for the New Year holidays, offering prices for villas from AED 50,000 per day. Not only Palm Jumeirah is experiencing a stir due to the demand for short-term stays in the city, when visitors are willing to pay a high price for real estate.
«In the last days of 2021, rates across the country have increased by 2 or 2.5 times per night», said Firas Al Msaddi, CEO of fam Living, which rents out holiday houses. «There are several luxury villas, the cost of which rose to AED 100,000 on the weekend in December». At the moment, standard villas cost from AED 6,000 to AED 8,000 per night, and luxury villas - from AED 10,000 to AED 15,000.
