Plots for purchase are a new trend for investors in Dubai

Today already-built villas and mansions aren’t the sole properties on the Dubai real estate market, plots to create the home of your dreams are selling just as quickly. 

A cluster of plots in the Al Wasl neighbourhood is now available to non-UAE nationals, for the first time. At the moment there are only 140 plots of 10,000 sq feet available. Investors will be handed full title deeds to the properties and will be able to construct luxury villas of their dreams. These plots will be priced starting at AED 40m.

Until this new option, the City Walk development in Al Wasl, was the only significant freehold option for non-UAE nationals. When it comes to villa plot valuations, Jumeira Bay island is already nearing AED 5,000 per square foot. This signifies new value for investors and will definitely raise interest in plot sale developments in the UAE.
