Real estate transactions in Dubai on Wednesday, 22 September, 2021, amounted to USD 327 million

A notable rise in residential transactions was witnessed in Dubai over the second quarter of 2021.

On Wednesday, Dubai’s property market registered 266 sales transactions worth USD 231 million, 68 mortgage deals amounting to USD 91 million as well as 21 gift transactions standing at USD 7.2 million, data released by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) revealed.

The sales transactions included 227 villas and apartments and 39 land plots. As for the mortgage deals, they covered 51 villas and apartments and 17 land plots. In total Wednesday's real estate transactions reached USD 327 million.

A notable surge in residential transactions was witnessed in Dubai over the second quarter of 2021. Sales grow due to positive market sentiment and continued international buyer interest, says the leading international real estate services firm Chestertons in latest research.

According to UAE Q2 2021 Market Report, total residential transaction value in Dubai grew by almost 50 percent quarter-on-quarter to USD 8.4 billion, while in the previous quarter it stood at USD 5.6 billion.
