Rents for apartments in Dubai in some areas have risen to 25%

Rental rates in most areas of Dubai are growing rapidly, especially in Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Palm Jumeirah. Interestingly, rents in affordable areas such as Deira, Dubai Sports City and Jumeirah Village are also rising due to an increase in population. Recently, more and more tenants are in search of more green areas.

Real estate analysts expect rents to continue to rise through the end of 2022, albeit at a slower pace, and reach 2014 levels by the end of the year.

According to a study published by Asteco, in the first quarter of 2022, rents in Dubai Marina increased by 25% compared to the same period in 2021, followed by Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Residence and Jumeirah Lake Towers - by 22%, and Jumeirah Village Circle and Greens - by 21%. Meanwhile, in affordable areas such as Deira, Dubai Sports City and Jumeirah Village, rents increased by 11%, 15% and 21%, respectively. While Discovery Gardens and International City saw growth of 2% and 5%, respectively.
