The first stage of construction of Masaar project has begun in Sharjah

The construction of the Masaar project in Sharjah is to begin immediately after the conclusion of two major contracts worth 460 million dirhams ($125 million). The project includes 4 000 villas and townhouses, as well as an area with 50 000 trees. It will occupy an area of 19 million square meters.

There will also be an entertainment center in the area, which will open in June. The center will have a children's playground, a skate park and an outdoor amphitheater. Two bicycle and running tracks, 6.6 kilometers long each, will be laid on the territory of the community.

The developer said that it will take 14 months to complete the construction work. The full Masaar master plan is expected to take seven years.
