Three villas in Dubai were among the most expensive properties in the world in 2022

Three properties in Dubai were among the 25 most expensive properties sold in the world in 2022. All three villas were located on Palm Jumeirah, which has become the most attractive area for foreign buyers of luxury real estate.

 

According to Savills, in 2022, Dubai's luxury real estate sector recorded one of the highest growth rates of capital value - 12.4%. According to Forbes Global Perspective, the villa worth AED 600 million, located on Frond N on Palm Jumeirah, became the third most expensive luxury property sold in 2022. According to media reports, Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani has bought the most expensive villa in Dubai.

 

Another villa located on the same man-made island was sold for AED 302.5 million and became the 17th most expensive property sold in the world in 2022. The exclusive villa Casa Del Sol was built on a plot of 2601 square meters.

 

While a 10-bedroom villa worth AED 280 million on Frond N ranked 19th among the most expensive properties sold in the world in 2022. The modern white villa has a huge living area of 3,065 square meters, ultra-modern living space, the amenities of a seven-star spa hotel (including a gym and a personal barber shop), and is decorated with imported Italian marble, hand-picked to order.

 

According to Forbes, almost a third of marketers surveyed reported that the number of foreign buyers exceeded the level of 2017.
