52,000 apartments and villas worth AED 114.2 billion were sold in 2021

According to Knight Frank, sales of luxury homes in Dubai worth more than USD 10 million have reached a record high. In 2021, more than 52,000 transactions with apartments and villas totaling AED 114.2 billion were registered in the Dubai residential real estate market, which is more than in 2019 and 2020.

«Wealthy investors around the world continue to have an insatiable appetite for Dubai's most luxurious properties. This has driven $10 million home sales reaching a record high in 2021, which is more than in the last 5 years», said Faisal Durrani, Head of Middle East Research at Knight Frank.

In four prestigious areas, such as Emirates Hills, Jumeirah Bay Island and the Palm Jumeirah, real estate prices increased by 44.4% in the 12 months to the end of September 2021.
