A record number of transactions were registered in Dubai at the beginning of last week

On Monday, May 23, 2022, 552 purchase and sale transactions worth 386.5 million dollars (1.42 billion UAE dirhams) and 78 mortgage transactions worth 210.62 million UAE dirhams were registered in the Dubai real estate market. The sales included 427 villas and apartments worth 878.57 million dirhams UAE and 125 land plots worth 540.79 million dirhams UAE.

 

According to data provided by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), on May 24, 2022, 610 purchase and sale transactions worth 1.72 billion dirhams of the UAE, 80 mortgage transactions worth 396.52 million dirhams of the UAE and 15 transactions totaling 40.18 million dirhams of the UAE were registered in the Dubai real estate market. 541 villas and apartments worth 1.4 billion dirhams and 69 land plots worth 320.33 million dirhams were sold, while 73 villas and apartments worth 340.42 million dirhams and seven land plots worth 56.1 million dirhams were mortgaged, bringing the total volume of real estate transactions to almost 2.1 billion dirhams.

 

On May 25, 2022, 445 purchase and sale transactions worth 1.06 billion dirhams of the UAE, 76 mortgage transactions worth 1.09 billion dirhams of the UAE and 10 transactions worth 23.91 million dirhams of the UAE were made in the Dubai real estate market.

 

411 villas and apartments worth 929.83 million dirhams and 34 land plots worth 133.98 million dirhams were sold, while 63 villas and apartments worth 856.87 million dirhams and 13 land plots worth 236.68 million dirhams were mortgaged, bringing the total volume of real estate transactions to almost 2.1 billion dirhams.
