According to experts, rental rates will continue to rise in 2022

Rental rates in Dubai will continue to rise in 2022, especially for luxury real estate and real estate by the sea. According to Asteco, the real estate consulting company, rental rates for apartments and villas continued to rise markedly in the third quarter of 2021 with 3% and 6%.

Firas Al Msaddi, CEO of FARM Properties, said that villas and apartments on the seashore will attract special attention in terms of rent and prices.

«The demand for coastal villas, townhouses and apartments will remain quite high, and rents will increase due to a lack of demand», he added.

The annual rental growth in the villa market was particularly significant and amounted to 19%, while the average rental rates of apartments increased slightly by 3%.

Ayman Youssef, vice-president of Coldwell Banker UAE, said: «We expect moderate growth in the real estate market in 2022, especially in elite apartment buildings providing high-quality apartments, modern amenities and services».
