The importance of indoor air quality in Dubai real estate market

There is certainly a growing awareness of the relationship between indoor air quality (IAQ) and health. People care more about healthy space and its advantages, which makes indoor air quality a very popular component and a priority when choosing a place to live, work or study.

Under visionary leadership aimed at improving the well-being of citizens across the country and accelerating the transition to a green economy, the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment recently launched the National Air Quality Strategy (2021-31), which focuses on the introduction of cleaner and innovative technologies to ensure high quality (IAQ) in buildings. Among other things, these efforts are aimed at developing and improving national air pollution standards, creating an air quality monitoring network based on artificial intelligence, and investing in intelligent technologies for detecting pollutants.

Today, developers recognize the growing interest and need to improve IAQ and are ready to revise their business plans and goals in order to provide their clients with service offerings focused on IAQ. Achieving indoor air quality requires going beyond the established guidelines for eco-friendly construction. To do this, it is necessary to understand the best practices regarding air quality, and then implement them with the help of intelligent technologies and home automation systems.
