The sale of the three-level penthouse «Bulgari Lighthouse» in Jumeirah Bay Island for 410 million dirhams was the first of many purchases of super-luxury housing in Dubai in 2023, which broke records. According to the data, the contract for a nine-bedroom apartment with an area of about 39,000 square meters was filed on February 1, 2023.

 

However, mass transactions did not stop there. Another apartment in Jumeirah Bay Island was also sold on February 1, 2023 for 112 million dirhams (13,785 square meters). On January 30, 2023, a house in the same area was sold for 67 million dirhams.

 

The purchase for 410 million dirhams significantly exceeds the Dubai penthouse record for 163 million dirhams set in August 2022 at Atlantis The Royal Residences in Palm Jumeirah.

 

In the period from January 12, 2023 to February 1, 2023, several agreements concluded in Jumeirah Bay actually provided sales volume of more than 2 billion dirhams. Of course, in 2022, Palm Jumeirah had high-profile real estate sales at asking prices of 600 million dirhams and just over 302 million dirhams.

 

A sale for 410 million dirhams would certainly attract attention, not least because it would set a new price record for penthouses in Dubai. More expensive penthouses are being put up for sale, whether privately or publicly, and some of them have already attracted many interested buyers.

 

According to industry sources, it is expected that more than a few penthouses worth more than 200 million dirhams will be sold before the summer.
