Top six areas for property crowdfunding in Dubai

50 percent of 100 investors surveyed by SmartCrowd believe that Dubai's real estate market has already 'bottomed out'.

SmartCrowd, a property investment platform regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA), has named the top six areas most popular among investors interested in property crowdfunding in Dubai. It follows a recent poll of 100 potential investors carried out by SmartCrowd, which showed that 50 percent of them believe that Dubai's real estate market has already 'bottomed out'.

Here's the top six locations in Dubai that people usually chose to invest in real estate via crowdfunding.

JUMEIRAH VILLAGE CIRCLE (JVC)

Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) tops the list. According to SmartCrowd, it is the most popular crowdfunding investor destination in Dubai. Covering an area over 870 hectares, JVC is located between Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Al Khail Road (E44) and is one of the most popular freehold areas in Dubai.

DUBAI MARINA

The waterfront area Dubai Marina is famous for its skyscrapers, hotels, leisure and shopping destinations. Among the top locations for crowdfunding property investment Dubai Marina is ranked second.

DUBAI PRODUCTION CITY

Dubai Production City, developed by TECOM Group, is third on the list. The area features a mix of high-rise apartment complexes with tennis courts and swimming pools and is well connected to most major areas of the city.

JUMEIRAH LAKE TOWERS (JLT) 

JLT is another popular location for property crowdfunding. The mixed-use pedestrian-friendly community comprises residential towers as well as offices surrounded by lakes and green spaces, which makes it highly sought-after among buyers.

DUBAI SILICON OASIS

A wide range of properties are currently available for crowdfunding in Dubai Silicon Oasis. It is one of the most affordable communities in Dubai, where there has been a huge surge of people moving there lately. The area features a vast number of convenient family amenities and sports facilities.

DUBAI SOUTH

Another area to consider for crowdfunding is Dubai South. The area has only recently become available on crowdfunding platforms but new properties there were sold out in less than a week. The area will definitely be in demand in the nearest future due to its proximity to the Expo 2020 site and Al Maktoum International Airport.
