Dubai: the 2nd stage of the Master Development Plan until 2040

In Dubai, according to official information, the Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, approved the 2nd stage of the Master Plan for the Development of Dubai until 2040, the main goal of which is to transform the city into an environmentally friendly and pedestrian-friendly city with a highly developed urban rural the household.

As part of the 2nd phase of the master plan, the main objectives of Dubai's development until 2040 have been identified, including the improvement of urban centers, the development of the real estate market and urban agriculture, the preservation of urban heritage, the creation of a pedestrian network and the development of a 20-minute urban policy.

It is noted that according to the 2nd stage of the master plan, it is planned to balance consumer demand and supply in the Dubai real estate market, as well as continue work on launching new projects and attracting foreign direct investment in the real estate sector, which will contribute to the growth of the national economy.

Also, as part of the 2nd phase of the master plan, it is planned to create a 20-minute city where every resident of this city will be able to get to any point of the city in twenty minutes on foot or by bike. Along with this, Dubai plans to improve urban areas, including squares, crossings and streets, so that they are convenient for locals and tourists.

It is worth recalling that the Master Plan for the Development of Dubai until 2040 was approved in March 2021, under which 17 projects have already been implemented or are being completed. The main objective of the Master Plan is to transform Dubai into a better city for living and working, for this purpose, centers are being created for the development of technologies and the digital economy, as well as the introduction of new business projects.
