In August, 2,409 purchase and sale transactions worth 2 billion dirhams were registered in Sharjah real estate sector, as investors continued to invest in the emirate's real estate market.
The latest data published by Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department (CARD) showed that 747 purchase and sale transactions account for 31% of the total number of transactions registered last month.
Mortgage transactions amounted to 303, which is 12.6% of the total number of transactions, worth more than 710 million dirhams. In addition, 1,359 other transactions accounted for 56.4% of the total number of transactions.
The purchase and sale transactions were carried out in 98 districts in various cities of the Emirate of Sharjah, and the total area of the real estate sold reached 6.3 million square meters and included residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural facilities. The types of real estate included 160 plots of land, which is (21.4%) of the total, while built-up land accounted for 254 (34%), and 333 transactions with divided towers were registered (44.6%).
